Nathan Jurevicius is a multifaceted creator who was born 1973 in Australia. Not only is he a world-renowned fine artist and illustrator, Nathan is also a director, vinyl toy designer, tutor and author. Nathan has created over 150 original characters, and is inspired by everything from edamame beans to the Baltic folklore of his Lithuanian heritage. OWLS
Over the years, Nathan has had many collaborations with renowned designer toy company Kidrobot, including the wooden Misko series and the flocked Dievas Dunny series, both of which use symbolism of owls, which are sacred in Baltic folklore.

DIEVAS
In 2011, Nathan designed his very first 8” Dunny, named and modeled after Dievas, the Lithuanian god of the sky, light, wealth, and prosperity, and the creator of the universe and the ruler of the gods. This owl-inspired flocked black Dunny has a plumage-style design on its vinyl belly, colorful geometric eyes, an orange beak and beautiful, teal gradient-tipped wings and ears. The 8” Dievas Dunny is limited to only 1500 pieces worldwide. In 2013, the flocked Dievas Dunny was also included in the Sideshow 3” Dunny series, with a white variant as well as the “chase” red variant.

MISKOS
In 2012, Nathan collaborated with Kidrobot again to produce the brand’s first-ever designer toys created from wood. The Misko Mini Series figures are spirits of the forest, also inspired by owls and the Lithuanian folklore that honors them. Upon release, this small collection of 2.5” figures consisted of 8 color variants: Grey, Yellow, Teal, White, Red, Pink, Black, and Blue. Each figure has interchangeable heads and scalloped neck plumage, which can be mixed and matched to create your own variation.
